3. Data Collection on Our Website

Server Log Files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of its website – for this purpose, the server log files must be recorded.

Contact, Appointment Bookings and Repair Orders

If you send us inquiries via the repair form, booking form, or email, your details from the form, including the contact details you provided there (name, email address, phone number, physical address, and, if applicable, device data such as manufacturer, model, serial number, and error description) will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your inquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the execution of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of the inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) if requested.

The data you enter will remain with us until you request us to erase it, withdraw your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your repair has been fully processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular tax and commercial law retention periods – remain unaffected.

4. Transfer of Data to Service Providers (Data Transmission)

To fulfill our contractual obligations and provide our online services, we cooperate with specialized service providers, to whom personal data is transferred to the extent necessary:

DHL (Shipping Processing)

For the incoming and return shipping of repair devices and for the creation of shipping labels, we transmit your address data (name, address) and, if applicable, your email address (for package notification and shipment tracking) to DHL Paket GmbH, Sträßchensweg 10, 53113 Bonn, Germany. The transfer is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for the performance and execution of the contract.

Stripe (Payment Processing)

We offer the possibility of processing payments online via the payment service provider Stripe on our website. Payment processing is carried out by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland (hereinafter "Stripe"). If you choose payment via Stripe, your entered payment data and billing-relevant contact details will be transmitted to Stripe. The transfer of your data to Stripe is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract processing) and on the basis of our legitimate interest in using secure and efficient payment methods (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Apple iCloud (Calendar Synchronization)

To coordinate repair appointments and store opening hours, we synchronize appointment data with the Apple iCloud calendar service. The provider of this service is Apple Distribution International Ltd., Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland. In the process, appointment details (e.g. booked service and first name/initials) are transmitted. The processing is based on our legitimate interest in efficient appointment and operational planning in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
